As local Encinitas residents, they are excited to bring a new storefront to the well-known streets of the 101 Highway. The word collective is defined as a group of entities which work together to achieve a common goal. Composed of about 20 small businesses, local artisans, and handmade jewelers, Coast Highway Trading will be a compilation of exceptional items perfectly curated with love.

AASeaGypsy

Handmade wire wrapped jewelry made by Amber Dawson. Inspired by the beauty of this earth; Amber’s designs capture the gorgeous nature of land and sea... Specifically for the mermaid and gypsy and festival souls :)

Growing up on the North Shore of Oahu, this is where Amber found and attributes her mermaid soul and love for the ocean. She relocated for college to the middle of the United States "mainland", specifically in Boulder, Colorado. This is when and where she became a gypsy. With the combined forces of land, sea, and community, her soul is constantly exploring and rejoicing in what this world and earth have to offer. Amber now resides in sunny San Diego and couldn't be more thrilled. Her main hopes are to create connections and forge bonds through the love, peace, and happiness this life has to offer--and of course share her artistic soul and creations with all who care to join her!

BeachVibe Jewelry

BeachVibe Jewelry is owned by Deb Williams, lapidary and silversmithing artist. She was intrigued by the whole up-cycled and eco-friendly movement and decided to work magic with surfite (recycled surfboard resin) and fordite (vintage recycled automotive paint). In addition to that, you will also find gemstones and pearls in her work. Everything is handcrafted by Deb, old-school style without the use of any machinery, other than my lapidary equipment. Deb is a born and raised California girl, surfing Swamis, Grandview, and just up the road at Tamarack for many decades. Deb still loves the culture, so for her this jewelry journey is not only fun, it's about making a difference. She is able to take literal waste that would go into a landfill and turn it into quality jewelry that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
